在巴塞罗那，和一群老头老太太看了满场。是年轻人觉得自己都不会老嘛.....
的确不是完美的电影，叙事偏颇、视角不均衡，Abdul方面的故事太单薄，但整体依然令人动容落泪。
讲真，我很佩服写作原书的女记者Shrabani Basu. 她在2003年游览女王Isle of Wight 夏宫的时候发现了很多“印度仆人Abdul Karim”的画像，然后产生了单纯的好奇心——“这个人看起来画的不像仆人啊，他穿着打扮姿态都很贵族，拿着本书侧面凝望，还有一些画像很温柔，这些不寻常的画打动了我。” 接下来Shrabani Basu画了五年时间深入调研

Pretty funny, lots of teasing and making fun on mostly the Brits and a bit on the Indians. Can't believe how ill-informed Victoria is, and I really don't think Abdul was that altruistic about the whole thing. Judi Dench was marvellous, of course, but Abdul was a bit two-dimensional. Apparently somewhat based on true events.
